ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: As part of an on-going recruitment campaign for our sales team, Townsquare Media – Duluth is looking for an Account Executive who will concentrate on selling advertisement for KBMX, KKCB, KLDJ and WEBC. The right candidate has the ability and desire to make a lot of calls to businesses, develop relationships and sell radio and internet advertising.

Candidates must demonstrate dependability, passion, strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills. Business acumen, open-mindedness and a sense of what it takes to win are essential. Must have high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is beneficial.

JOB SUMMARY: A Townsquare Media Account Executive is the primary contact for new prospective clients. You will develop business relationships and prospect, market, sell and service advertising air time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect, market, sell and service advertising air time, digital products and event sponsorship.
  • Negotiate business based on industry ratings in order to maximize station revenue and share within parameters set by station management.
  • Achieve revenue and share goals set by Sales Manager.
  • Develop new advertisers by soliciting area businesses.
  • Service clients to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Prepare sales orders and production requests in timely manner.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and assist in collections of past due accounts.
  • Provide regular reports to Sales Manager regarding prospective sales orders, daily call sheets, itineraries, new prospect lists, forecasts, and competition analysis.
  • Monitor competitive media to continually prospect for new account leads.
  • Follow station/company practices/policies for processing, invoicing, calculation of sales.
  • Adhere to minimum standards of performance as established by Sales Manager.
  • Develop account list from various sources.
  • Conceive and execute written proposals.
  • Additional responsibilities as outlined by sales manager.

DEDICATED DIGITAL SELLER

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: As part of an on-going recruitment campaign for our digital advertising sales team, Townsquare Media – Duluth is looking for a Dedicated Digital Seller who has the ability and desire to make a lot of calls to businesses, create relationships with new potential clients and create great on-going digital advertising campaigns. The Townsquare digital initiatives include display, streaming, custom sites, loyalty programs, e-commerce, Seize the Deal, Townsquare Interactive and other digital products

Candidates must demonstrate dependability, passion, strong communication and problem-solving skills. Business acumen, open-mindedness and a sense of what it takes to win are essential. Previous digital or sales experience a plus.

JOB SUMMARY: A Townsquare Media Dedicated Digital Seller is the primary contact for new prospective digital customers. You will develop business relationships and sell our digital portfolio of products, by performing the following duties:

  • Consistently be cold-calling to develop new customer leads
  • The majority of your time will be spent on the street meeting, inquiring and crafting digital advertising programs for your clients
  • Prepares digital advertising schedules, sales literature, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales contract details for digital clients into computer database.
  • Follow accountabilities set forth by your Digital Sales Manager to help guide you to success
  • Investigates and resolves client issues.

DEDICATED DIGITAL PRODUCT SELLER/TI and STD

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: As part of an on-going recruitment campaign for our digital advertising sales team, Townsquare Media – Duluth is looking for a Dedicated Digital Seller who will concentrate exclusively on selling Seize the Deal and Townsquare Interactive. The right candidate has the ability and desire to make a lot of calls to businesses, develop relationships and sell Townsquare Interactive web sites and also Seize the Deal.

Candidates must demonstrate dependability, passion, strong communication and problem-solving skills. Business acumen, open-mindedness and a sense of what it takes to win are essential. Previous digital or sales experience a plus.

JOB SUMMARY: A Townsquare Media Dedicated Digital Seller TI and STD is the primary contact for new prospective TI and STD clients. You will develop business relationships and sell these two products exclusively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell TI and STD to new prospective customers
  • Consistently be cold-calling to develop new customer leads
  • The majority of your time will be spent on the street meeting, inquiring and crafting TI and STD programs with these new clients
  • Prepares initial web sites and discounting ideas for STD clients
  • Enters new customer data and other sales contract details for STD and TI clients into computer database.
  • Follow accountabilities set forth by your Digital Sales Manager to help guide you to success
  • Investigates and resolves client issues.
