Bulldogs Quarterback Nationally Recognized for Performance This Season

When you are involved in 5 touchdowns in just one game, the national media will take notice, and they have for UMD’s Quarterback.

Senior quarterback Chase Vogler had 296 yards passing and three touchdowns through the air, and ran for another 100 yards and two scores and was named the NSIC Conference player of the week this week, but Thursday he was also named the the D2football.com National Player of the week.  UMD, ranked #2 in the country hosts Augustana Saturday at Malosky Stadium.  The Bulldogs are 3-0 overall, and 3-0 in the NSIC. He is one of five senior captains.
