Adele — Crush of the Day
It’s not much of an understatement to say the whole country has a crush on pop songstress Adele. Tracks from her hit album ‘21’ are still blanketing national radio, and with her talent, looks and large army of fans, it’s clear that she’s here to stay.
With the recent news that Adele may be singing the theme for the next James Bond movie, ‘Skyfall,’ we though it was the right time to add her to the Crush list.
The English singer-songwriter, born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, first found fame in the mother country with her debut album ’19.’ Shortly after its release, she earned two Grammy awards in the U.S. ahead of the release of ’21,’ her second and most successful album to date.
Adele took home a slew of Grammy Awards for ’21,’ and she broke UK records by selling more than 3 million copies of the album in a single year.
While she hasn’t officially stated that she’s singing the next Bond theme, Adele strongly hinted that she was doing so during an appearance on the UK’s ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ last fall.
We couldn’t think of a more appropriate singer to warble over Bond’s old school stunts and snogging.
